How this thing works:

  1. Read over the Need to Know section of this website and learn about teen work zone safety.
  2. Then create a 25 second video that helps us keep Tennessee teens safe in work zones.
  3. Upload the video to YouTube.
  4. Fill out the entry form on this website and include the YouTube link to your video.

Entry Dates:

Any time between January 5th and February 28th.

Online Voting:

Will happen from March 1st to March 10th (20%). Make sure all your friends know where to vote for your video!

TDOT Judging:

Video entries will be judged on the basis of concept/idea (20%); effectiveness of the message (40%); and creativity (20%)

Regional Winners:

One winner will be selected from the television viewing areas around Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Tri-Cities. All Tennessee high school students are eligible.

Grand Prize Winner:

The winning team will have their video aired on TV stations across Tennessee. But that’s not all, winners also receive a $500 gift certificate to Best Buy and a set of Bridgestone tires.
